Andrew Robb

Andrew Robb grew up in Wellington, and moved to CHB in 2014. At Victoria University in 1974 his life-long journey into te ao Maori began. He joined the Te Reo Māori Society, and later helped found Ngā Kaiwhakapumau i te Reo; and ever since, has campaigned for recognition of Māori in education, broadcasting and the law. He has worked as a bilingual reporter for Mana News, Māori Television and E-Tangata, in the Parliamentary Press Gallery, and as a Ministerial Press Secretary for both Tariana Turia and Pita Sharples.  Andrew is a keen, but not terribly expert, trout fisher in the rivers of CHB
